Conversation Club
Get together with other students and share YOUR ideas in a friendly and supportive atmosphere!
Monday and Wednesday: 4pm - 5pm
All levels are welcome and encouraged to join
Minimum: 4 students
Maximum: 14 students
Students participate in:
- Pair work
- Group discussions
- Debates
- Informal presentations
Topics range from entertainment to romance to politics to cultural similarities and differences. Students work together under the guidance of the teacher to research and prepare the topics.
Academic Clubs:
Idioms and Reading
Come have a chance to learn vocabulary and reading skills under the watchful eye of one of SEC's knowledgeable teachers!
Tuesdays: Idiom Club

The structure of Academic Clubs:
- Ice Breaker / Introduction
- Presentation and explanation of material
- Students work with partners / small groups to complete tasks
- Students can ask questions or present language problems and get clear, easy explanations
