Business Protocol Program (BPP)

Admission Requirements:

Or TOEFL Score: PBT 490 / CBT 170 / IBT 60

Or SEC Level 118 Placement


Business Protocol is offered in two 4 week modules.  Students have the option to take either module 1, module 2 or both modules.

The Business Protocol Diploma program is geared towards advanced-level students wishing to maximize their oral ability for survival in the real world.



Key components of the course:


  • Module 1 topics include interviews, resume writing, marketing yourself and customer service.
  • Module 2 topics include business meetings, negotiations, seminars and conferences.
  • Students learn the vocabulary, expressions and appropriate behavior for various situations in the business field and become prepared to enter the world of business.



Breakdown of modules:  
     Each module breaks down into 3   sections daily: 


1. Presentation Skills:


  • Essential training for future job interviews, meetings or presentations.
  • Formal oral communication and professionalism practice in the English language.
  • Effective communication and presentation of ideas and materials in a concise manner in front of an audience.

2. Professional Situational Skills:


  • A unique approach to oral language practice.
  • Students first discuss a variety of case studies and analyse in order to then role-play the scenario.
  • The case scenarios are regularly video recorded by the teacher and reviewed together as a class in order to provide feedback.

3. Professional Language Accuracy:


  • Students practice and improve their reading comprehension, writing and listening skills as well as speaking.
  • Essential review of target language places more emphasis on their fluency of Business English.
